We are very excited about our Leeds market this weekend (4 & 5 June, 11-5pm, Black Swan, 37 Call Ln, LS1 7BT) and thought we’d share with you some other fantastic events that will be going on in the city at the same time. So you can plan your visit to Crafty Fox and enjoy some other festivities around the city!
Just up the street from Crafty Fox market you will find Leeds Affordable Vintage Fair at The Corn Exchange, with over 40 stalls packed with affordable vintage fashion, accessories & collectables.
With 1000's of items of vintage under one roof you will be spoilt for choice and be able to have a good rummage through the rails for some bargains!
Saturday 4th June, 10am to 5pm, free entry.
Head down to Leeds Industrial Museum at Armley Mills for this year’s Leeds Wool Festival; bringing together a jam-packed programme of textile workshops, talks, special performances and weaving demonstrations alongside a mini market with over twenty carefully hand-picked stalls.
Whether you’re passionate about knitting, crazy about crochet, or would simply like to bring along the family to meet adorable lambs and alpacas then Leeds Wool Festival is the place to be.
There will also be live music and dance performances inspired by Yorkshire’s textile industry, films in the 1920s cinema including the award winning ‘Addicted to Sheep’ and the very popular pop-up café hosted by The Darling Roses branch of the Women’s Institute, selling delicious homemade cakes and teas.
More than 100 exhibitors will be showcasing the region's finest food and drink at The Yorkshire Food and Drink Show, held at Millennium Square all weekend.
If you're passionate about food and drink there will be a heavenly combination to stimulate the senses. There'll be live cookery demonstrations from local chefs, artisan food specialists exhibiting delicious produce, traditional real ales, Pimms and cocktail bars and some of Yorkshire’s finest restaurants serving their signature dishes.
In addition there'll be the sizzle of delicious street food dishes from around the world being cooked right in front of you, so why not pop down to try some amazing grub after the market!
