2026 marks 7 years of Crafty Fox Market at Shambala Festival! It’s always a magical few days of fun, inspiration and new friends. Sustainability is very much at the heart of Shambala as a festival and they have won lots of awards over the years for their eco-credentials. Please make sure you take a look at their website and inform yourself about the festival before applying. ALL sequins (new and vintage) and glitter are banned so please be aware.
Where does it take place: A beautiful country estate in Northamptonshire called Kelmarsh Hall & Gardens (map). The closest station is Market Harborough.
When: 27 - 30th August. Trader arrival is actually on Wednesday 26th and you can choose to leave on the Sunday evening but lots stay until the Monday.
How many people: It has a capacity of around 18,000 people. It’s a family-orientated festival which draws a party-loving crowd from throughout the UK.
The Market: Crafty Fox Market will be held in a marquee featuring up to 14 traders. It’s a small but perfectly formed market which always has a great atmosphere. Trading hours are 2pm - 7pm on the Thursday and 11am - 7pm on the other days. You MUST commit to being there for the duration of the trading hours - the market only functions if everyone is present.
What sort of traders: Products must be handmade or produced on a small scale based on original designs within the UK. We are always heavily over subcribed for jewellery traders at Shambala so bear in mind your chances are slimmer if you are selling jewellery. We also can’t accept clothing as there is a separate fashion market onsite.
Camping: You will need to camp in either your own tent or camper van - you are not allowed to leave the site and re-enter so be prepared to stay onsite for the duration. There is the option to camp in trader camping or behind our Crafty Fox Market marquee. It’s a fairly small site so expect to hear music overnight.
Payment Devices: New for 2026, Shambala is becoming an entirely cashless site. All traders are required to rent a payment device (£50 +VAT) and get set up on the system in advance of the festival. The logic behind this is to secure the integrity of the wifi network. You will not be given a wifi password. Takings will be returned to you within 7 days of the festival ending. I’ve been advised that Shambala have done a lot of due diligence in selecting which company to work with and that your funds will be held in an intermediary account so there is no risk even if the payment company was to go out of the business in the interim. There is the option to share a device with a fellow trader if you are able to deal with one payment post-festival.
How much: There are 2 options available:
Option 1: £475 (+VAT) - includes a 6ft trestle table in the CFM marquee, plus 2 adult festival tickets and parking.
Option 2: £235 (+VAT) - includes a 6ft trestle table in the CFM marquee, plus 1 adult festival ticket and parking.
There is also the option to book a 2nd table for £50 +VAT (2 available) and an extra crew ticket for approx £295 (price tbc - VAT included).
Children’s tickets can be added on free of charge.

Cancellation Policy in the event of festival cancellation
As with any event, there is always a possibility that the festival may need to be cancelled at the last moment.
We sincerely hope that this won’t happen, but need to ensure all traders are aware of the potential for this situation. In the event of the festival being cancelled in advance of set-up, we will offer a refund on your trading fees, minus £50 (+VAT) per trader as a contribution to our administration costs. If the festival needs to be called off for any reason once set-up is underway, any refund of stall fees will be at our discretion and in line with festival policies.
In the event of the market being cancelled, we regret that Crafty Fox Market is not responsible for costs incurred in your preparation for the market, including but not limited to, travel, stock, equipment or staff costs.
Refund Policy in the event of a trader no longer being able to attend
If your application is successful and you have paid but subsequently are unable to attend, please email hello@craftyfoxmarket.co.uk to notify us. If it is more than 30 days before the event, we will refund stall fees minus a £50 (+VAT) administration fee. If it is between 14 - 30 days before the event, we will refund 25% of stall fees. No refunds will be provided if less than 14 days notice is provided regardless of the circumstances - as I’m sure you can appreciate, it is very difficult to find replacement festival traders at short notice.
