Crowd-Funding for your Creative Project

Crowd-funding has become one of the internet's fastest growing phenomenons and it can be a great way to raise funds to trial new things in your business. We are looking forward to our forthcoming Crafty Fox Talks on the subject (Tuesday 24th February). We have lined up a diverse panel of speakers who will be telling their story, providing insights and answering your questions. Book now - all tickets include drinks and a goodie bag stuffed with treats.

Meet our panel and watch their crowd-funding campaign videos

Kelly Angood - The Pop-Up Pinhole Company

Kelly started the pop-up pinhole company while still a student in 2010. She went on to successfully raise over £35K to launch a new product using Kickstarter in 2013. Hear Kelly's story and find out what she learned along the way.

Howard Kingston - Co-Founder of Adludio (formerly Future Ad Labs)

Howard Howard is Co-founder & CMO of Adludio, a VC backed adtech company that is on a mission to transform advertising. Recently, his company raised over half a million pounds using crowd-funding platform Seedrs

Howard is an active member of the UK’s start-up scene.  He also teaches marketing at General Assembly and can occasionally be found DJing at Crafty Fox Markets. Howard will teach about how the fundamentals of running a successful crowd-funding campaign are the same, no matter what the industry and which platform you are using.

Jayne Rutland - Hairy Jayne Handmade

Jayne is a hairdresser who also makes her own range of handmade haircare. In 2013, her business ran into a stumbling block as a change in cosmetic law meant that all her products needed re-testing. She turned to crowd-funding platform Indiegogo to raise the funds she needed to carry on. Jayne's campaign was creative, fun and well-executed - join us at Crafty Fox Talks to hear how she did it.
