Located in the picturesque town of West Tarring, Worthing, West Sussex, near the scenic South Downs and Worthing beaches, Claire Murray Ceramics is a creative studio founded by Claire in 2022. Claire, who also has 19 years’ experience as a ceramics, art and photography technician, specialises in both decorative and functional ceramic pieces, ranging from unique dual clay bowls to intricate garden sculptures."My studio at the bottom of the garden is my ‘happy place.’ Here, I immerse myself for hours, crafting pottery that I envision in my own home. Recently, I’ve updated my glazes to achieve a lighter, more modern aesthetic, and I’m thrilled with the results. My collection is made of stoneware and earthenware, either wheel-thrown or hand-built.
