Park Prints creates unique prints of city parks. All of the prints are originally hand drawn by Claire McMenamin, an award winning architect based in East London.
Claire’s local park, Victoria Park, was so important to her during an illness and maternity leave and so she made drawings of it. She then expanded the range to include parks from all over London and Dublin.
Claire uses her architectural skills to make pencil drawings of the parks. The drawings are then transformed into high quality giclée prints. These use the highest quality pigment based inks. Giclée fine art printing achieves bold, true to life colours in exquisite detail with excellent age resistance.
All prints are on Hahnemühle Bamboo 290gsm paper. Claire uses it because it is an environmentally friendly paper with a tactile, natural feel. This resource-saving material is made from 90% bamboo fibers mixed with 10% cotton rag. It’s the world’s premier bamboo fine art paper for printing. It achieves a vast colour gamut with high colour density.
