They say it’s never too late. For me it took participating in a workshop at the age of 52 to decide and pursue an old dream, to making jewellery. It wasn’t a crisis; it was a homecoming. Since then, it has become a true passion. I set up a small workshop and started experimenting and creating.
My primary medium is silver, although I occasionally work with gold. I create contemporary handmade jewellery, experimenting with geometric and organic forms, smooth and irregular textures, and both precise and deliberately ‘wonky’ shapes. I enjoy exploring the balance between structure and imperfection, often allowing the material itself to guide my process intuitively.
I find inspiration in everything that catches my eye, from shapes and textures in the world around me to the unexpected beauty of imperfection. I love combining modern statement elements with classic influences, creating pieces that feel distinctive yet wearable.
For me, wearing a piece of jewellery goes far beyond decoration. It is a form of self-expression, it marks meaningful moments, and it is an opportunity to communicate personal stories. I hope to create pieces which bring confidence, individuality and joy to the people who wear them.
