Join Maggie for a free workshop making your own colourful paper lanterns. The perfect activity with Halloween just around the corner, there is no need to book, just turn up and enjoy!
2.30-4.30 - Feminist Embroidery Workshop - with Wimperis Embroidery
In this feminist embroidery workshop, Niamh will teach you five key stitches that can be used in lots of different ways. She’s designed three patterns for you to choose from, "feminist", "grow", and "shine". You'll get to keep your work, including your own 4" Elbese embroidery hoop. 11am-2pm - FREE DROP-IN WORKSHOP - Brush Lettering with Creative Feel Designs
Join Alina from Creative Feed Designs to learn and practice brush lettering. She’ll be on hand to help you make a greetings card or print, offering advice on this beautiful form of art.
2.30-4.30 - Make your own botanical keepsake glass necklace with Lizzy Chambers
Create your own unique keepsake glass sphere necklace with Lizzy Chambers. Lizzy has been creating botanical glass keepsakes for over 6 years, showcasing at RHS Chelsea Flower Show in 2018 with her floral jewellery. She is looking forward to sharing with you the art of getting the “petal in the bottle” with this 2 hour workshop, where you will be able to take home your finished necklace, complete with a branded box.
You will have a choice of multiple coloured petals to fill your glass sphere with, which have been either sourced from Lizzy’s own garden or a collection of British farms she works with. You will learn how to make a chain for the right length for yourself and get tips on how best to dry your own flowers whilst creating your necklace.
Come and create something beautiful for you to keep or a lovely present for someone special. Perfect for any gender, over the age of 16.
