TRADER INFORMATION - Christmas Market at RSA House curated by Crafty Fox Market

We are very much looking forward to welcoming you to the Christmas Market at The Royal Society of the Arts curated by Crafty Fox Market on Saturday 6th December 2025. You will find the trader listings for the event here so do take a look to familiarise yourself with your fellow traders ahead of the market.

Venue: The market is marking place at RSA House (8 John Adam Street, London, WC2N 6EZ) across two spaces: the Benjamin Franklin Room and the Great Room. RSA House is a striking, central London venue set near the Strand and Covent Garden. It is a graceful historic building blending Georgian splendour with modern design. The market is taking place indoors.

Stalls:

• Your stall consists of a standard 6’ x 2.5’ trestle table and one chair.

• As with all our markets, you are welcome to bring display structures to place on top of your table to create interest and height at no extra cost. Please ensure any structures which sit on top of your table / stall are securely fastened or clamped to prevent them falling.

• You are not allowed to affix anything to the walls. The stands will be numbered. Please seek out one of our stewards upon arrival who will guide you to your table.

• Stands are not equipped with an electricity supply.

Please remember that the ethos of Crafty Fox is supporting designer makers and handmade goods. In the past, one or two traders have mixed imported goods in with their own items. Please stick to self-made/handmade/made in UK goods only to uphold the integrity of the event.

Set up:

• Set up on the day of the event is from 10am, and your stand must be ready in advance of 11am when the event is scheduled to start. We ask also that you stay till the end of the event at 5pm.

• Please do not arrive before 10am - the space will not be set up for you until then.

• At the end of the event please take away all your rubbish with you. We are trying to run a sustainable event generating as little rubbish as possible.

Additional structures:

• If you plan on bringing any additional free-standing structures which are not sitting directly on the table top (including art browsers, clothing rails, shelving units, peg boards, etc) these must be paid for in advance so that we know where to place these on our table plan.

• Walkways have to be kept clear of obstructions at all times to allow for good crowd flow and to prevent delay in evacuation should there be an emergency.

• Please do not bring any pop up banners as they can potentially obstruct your neighbour’s stalls.

• Please get in touch Catherine at catherine.palmer@craftyfoxmarket.co.uk if you are yet to book these structures onto your stall reservation. We will ask for additional payment on the day if additional structures haven’t been booked in advance.

Transport:

• If you are arriving by public transport, the closest stations are Charing Cross and Embankment which are around a 5-minute walk from the venue, with Covent Garden and Leicester Square just a little further.

• Please check your journey in advance and TfL’s weekend works calendar: Tube, Overground, Elizabeth line, DLR & Tram status updates - Transport for London (tfl.gov.uk).

Arrival by car and parking:

• If you are driving, access is via John Adam Street where you will be able to stop outside the venue and unload on the street. We suggest familiarising yourself with the loading and unloading guidance from Westminster City Council: https://www.westminster.gov.uk/parking/trade-parking-businesses/loading-and-unloading

• Please note that there is no parking at the venue. You are only able to park briefly to unload.

• Please stop outside the black door pictured below just past the main entrance. This will take you through an accessible entrance into the Benjamin Franklin room or to lifts up to The Great Room.

Other information:

• There is a Wi-Fi connection at the venue, but we recommend you also make sure you have access to 4G via your phone to operate your card reader.

• Please bring additional battery powered lighting to highlight your stall. This is a new space for us and we are unsure how light in the spaces might be impacted after sunset.

• No naked flames are allowed so if you are displaying items which use candles, please ensure you use battery powered alternatives.

• There is an onsite coffee shop (The Coffee House) and toilets available on each floor.

• There are also water refill points throughout the building

Marketing:

• Please help to spread the word and the buzz amongst your friends, family and contacts in the remaining few days. The success of a market partly relies on everyone working together to promote the event!

• We encourage you to cross promote with other traders who are taking part in the market too so please do look out for posts/stories and actively reshare content. You can also tag us (@craftyfoxmarket) and RSA (@rsahouse) in your content so we can reshare.
