APPLY NOW: Crafty Fox Experience Market at Two Temple Place on Saturday 29 August

We’re excited to return at Two Temple Place, a dazzling neo-Tudor gem with an array of whimsical and Gothic elements on Victoria Embankment (nearest station: Temple), on Saturday 29th August.

The market will be part of their Celebration of Makers festival which will take place over four days celebrating the crafts behind the beautiful decoration at Two Temple Place. There will have live demonstrations of the crafts used to create the building across all 4 days plus workshops for all ages and talks about the building.

Our market on Saturday 29th August will be a free-to-enter experience market. In order to take part, we ask that you bring an experiential element to your stall. For example, offering complimentary personalisation, live portraits or live demonstration of your craft. There will be also be an opportunity to apply to run a workshop at the market.

Applications are open until Monday 15 June and there are 25 trading slots available.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • We are specifically interested in traders who are able to incorporate an element of demonstration or personalisation to their stand. Shoppers love to see the story behind your work and how an item is created, which helps them to feel connected to your products and encourages purchase. Please think about how you could incorporate this into your market stall and make the shopping experience more experiential.

  • We also have opportunities for traders to deliver a workshop for shoppers. Please let us know about your workshop offer, if relevant, in your application form.

  • Original work which is either handmade by you or produced in the UK on a small scale using your original designs

  • The markets have a modern aesthetic so consider if your brand has the crafty feel we are looking for - you will find plenty of examples of traders and products at our market on our Facebook and Instagram pages

  • Our events are curated to ensure a balanced mix of traders that will appeal to our audience. We will do our best to spread the opportunity to as many selected traders as possible.

  • We do NOT accept food or drink vendors, vintage traders or re-sellers

KEY INFORMATION ABOUT THE VENUE, MARKET AND PRICING: 

When: Saturday 29th August, 11am - 5pm

Where: Two Temple Place, 2 Temple Place, London, WC2R 3BD. The market will take place in the lower gallery (pictured here). We are thrilled to host our second market at Two Temple Place, nestled in the centre of London overlooking the Thames, the fantastic location and stunning interiors make it a exciting new destination.

Timings: Set up from 10am, market open from 11am-5pm.

Transport: Nearest station Temple

Unloading / parking: Loading bay 100m from venue, traders will need to find their own parking.

Price: 6ft trestle table - £99 (incl VAT). Chairs are provided. £54 (incl VAT) to run a workshop.

Need to know: This is an experience based market. You must demonstrate in your application that you can bring a live and experiential element to your stall on the day.

Why trade: This market is part of a four day festival celebrating makers which will draw a crowd of those passionate about handcrafted items.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ON OUR CANCELLATION POLICY

As a small business ourselves, we spend a significant amount of time negotiating with a venue, securing trading dates, managing the applications for a market and publicising the event and we can find ourselves in a tricky situation in the event of a cancellation.

If your application is successful but subsequently you are unable to attend, we will reference our terms of trading in your refund. If it is more than 30 days before the event, we will refund stall fees minus a £20 administration fee. If it is between 14 - 30 days before the event, we will refund 50% of stall fees. No refunds will be provided if less than 14 days notice is provided regardless of the circumstances.

In the event of a market date being cancelled by us due to forces beyond our control, we will offer a refund on your trading fees, minus £25 per trader. We hope you understand our reasons for doing this and thank you for your consideration.
