On Saturday 29 August, we're bringing our very first Experience Market to the breath-taking surroundings of Two Temple Place as part of the venue's four-day Celebration of Makers festival. Alongside 25 carefully curated independent designers, you'll find a programme of hands-on creative workshops, live demonstrations, pop-up portraits and complimentary personalisation, giving you the chance to discover the stories, skills and craftsmanship behind every handmade piece. Whether you leave with a new creation, a newfound hobby or simply a head full of ideas, it's set to be a day packed with creativity.

Antifreeze: Overcoming Creative Block and Self-Talk on Paper with RockCakes (£38.00 - only 8 spaces available)
Whether you draw, write or simply have ideas you don't want to lose, this workshop is all about building a simple habit to help you capture them. Using a pocket sketchbook, you'll explore easy prompts and exercises designed to help you notice and record everyday observations, creative sparks and new ideas before they disappear.
There's no need to be good at drawing or writing – this is a relaxed, practical session for anyone curious about developing a creative practice. You'll leave with your own pocket sketchbook, a take-home kit and a simple habit to keep your creativity flowing long after the workshop ends.

Weave & Make a Utility Strap with Weavers Works (£38.00)
Learn the basics of warp-faced weaving in this relaxed, beginner-friendly workshop using a pre-set heddle frame loom. Before the session, you'll choose two warp (vertical yarn) colours, with a selection of weft (horizontal yarn) colours available to pick from on the day.
By the end of the workshop, you'll leave with a handwoven wrist strap fitted with a swivel clasp and your choice of either a keyring or phone case attachment. All materials are provided, and guidance will be available throughout, making this a great introduction to creating your own functional woven accessory.

Tetrapak Print Making with Emma Bond Illustration (£40.00)
Create your own butterfly print inspired by the decorative details and craftsmanship of Two Temple Place in this hands-on printmaking workshop. Using recycled Tetrapak cartons, you'll learn how to transfer a design, etch fine details and build up layers of colour before printing your artwork on a traditional printing press.
By the end of the session, you'll leave with a finished butterfly print presented in a floating glass frame, ready to display at home. All materials are provided, and with step-by-step guidance throughout, the workshop is suitable for complete beginners as well as anyone looking to explore a new printmaking technique.
